Skill block completion will increase hourly rate.</p> <p>Pay Range: $25.10 - $25.43</p> <p>Hours: 5:00pm and 10:30pm; Monday - Friday (Usually 4-5 hours a day, not to exceed 29 hours a week.)</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Your contribution will ensure that Johnsonville products are of the highest quality and meet our defined standards of safety. You'll learn about a variety of Sanitation processes, expanding your existing knowledge for application into the business of making sausage. There is unlimited opportunity for growth as you become an active contributor to the Sanitation Team and assist your team in the quest for continual improvement.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals </li><li>Rinse, foam, scrub, and sanitize Harvest and Harvest Processing washrooms ensuring that all areas meet Johnsonville and USDA standards of acceptability </li><li>Rinse, foam, scrub, and sanitize Harvest and Harvest Processing PPE (mesh gear, aprons, gloves, sleeves, and knife scabbards). </li><li>Wipe condensation </li><li>Be able to perform and rotate through several job functions within each department </li><li>Prepare facility equipment for cleaning by locking out machinery and covering all electrical equipment with plastic </li><li>Proper set up and teardown of equipment within the facility </li><li>Conduct environmental and bioluminescence swabbing </li><li>In depth knowledge of equipment functions and the ability to assist in troubleshooting </li><li>Identify and resolve potential problems </li><li>Must be able to complete sanitation documentation paperwork accurately </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Basic sanitation experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) </li><li>Must be able to identify Critical Control Points (CCPs) in area of responsibility and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) </li><li>Must be dependable, honest and proactive </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills required </li><li>Must be able to become certified in chemical usage </li><li>Must be at least 18 years old </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work at heights that are above ground level </li><li>Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis </li><li>Ability to work in cold and wet conditions </li><li>Ability to hold a hose for an extended period of time </li><li>Physical demands for this position require walking or standing most of the time </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check </li></ul> <p>Date: June 3rd, 2025</p> <p>Location: Watertown, WI</p> <p>Member Status: Part Time, Hourly</p> <p>Positions Available: 2</p> <p>Benefits: Part-Time Members have potential for a monthly bonus, 401k with a company match.
