<p>Job Description</p> <p>Maintenance Technician - Erlanger, KY</p> <p>SAFETY /HOUSEKEEPING</p> <ul> <li>Enforces safety protocols and procedures:, Know company policy to maintain a safe work environment; enforce compliance between ALL team members, operations , maintenance, support groups. </li><li>Equipment Certifications: Do not operate equipment unless being certified to operate the equipment. </li><li>PPE: Comply with the plant's PPE requirements. </li><li>Tools: Know the safe usage of all tools, Lock out and report tools that are unsafe. Fully understand the proper use of needed tools before utilizing. </li><li>Equipment: Do not work on equipment that is energized or unfamiliar. Especially the area where the work is centered. </li><li>Attend Safety Training: Work with the supervisor to know assigned training schedule; related to the work environment and its hazards. and know equipment safety guidelines. </li><li>Housekeeping: Ensure the shop/work area is clean and orderly when work is finished. </li></ul> <p>MAINTENANCE SHIFT START-UP / SHIFT END</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct Tech-to-Tech Handoff to:</p> </li><li> <p>Review previous shift major occurrences</p> </li><li> <p>Learn the troubled equipment, not fully repaired</p> </li><li> <p>Understand activity completed to set up the next shift</p> </li><li> <p>Attend Shift Huddle Meeting to:</p> </li><li> <p>Learn the previous day's performance</p> </li><li> <p>Review top 3 downtime reasons, previous day</p> </li><li> <p>Know the day's priority work</p> </li><li> <p>Review planned work; ask questions</p> </li></ul> <p>WORK ORDER MANAGEMENT</p> <ul> <li>Planned Work Orders: Review all planned Work Orders assigned, ask questions regarding any plan uncertainty that exists. </li><li>Close Work Order: Prior to leaving the worksite complete the Work Order with a Root Cause description, actual work performed description, parts used, and time applied. </li><li>Unplanned Work Orders: Respond to the emergency call, confirm the issue, complete the work. Prior to leaving the worksite, get the Work Order number, complete the Work Order with a Root Cause description, actual work performed description, parts used, and time applied. </li><li>Creating a Work Order: Enter all pertinent information to describe the equipment, enter a work description that leaves no room for interpretation, parts required, and an estimated time needed to complete the repair. </li><li>Work Escalation: Escalate Job delay in accordance with the Escalation Process. </li></ul> <p>CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT</p> <ul> <li>Lead and/or participate in RCAs for processes enduring more than 60 minutes of Down Time. </li><li>Identify and communicate improvement opportunities associated with increased safety and throughput, decreased down time and cost, methods to simplify repairs. </li><li>Repetitive Failure: Provide input to minimize or eliminate repetitive failure recurrence. </li><li>Work Order Enhancement: Provide work order/job description feedback </li><li>Work descriptions needing modification </li><li>Work Order's missing activity </li><li>Improved activity sequence steps </li><li>Improved activity/material specifications </li><li>Part Numbers </li><li>etc. </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.</p> <p>REF:97433BR</p>
