<p>Job-ID: 16142; Location(s): Broomfield, CO</p> <p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>The Junior IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing IT projects to make sure initiatives are delivered in time, in budget and in quality. The position coordinates project teams, effectively manages stakeholders and documents project management activities to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to successful completion. </li><li>Develop and execute project management plans including project schedules. </li><li>Oversee and manage resources, financials and risks. </li><li>Monitor, assess and manage project progress and timelines. </li><li>Track project deliverables and ensure that deadlines are met. </li><li>Coordinate the efforts of team members make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, schedules and updates and to ensure that they have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks. </li><li>Prepare status reports and other documentation to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. </li><li>Act as the point of contact and communication, relaying project status information to relevant parties. </li><li>Assist in the implementation and adoption of project management best practices. </li><li>Ensure data integrity and accuracy of project documents. </li><li>Organize reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access. </li><li>Plan meetings, coordinate attendees and their contributions/deliverables. </li><li>Perform other duties as required or assigned. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lead and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment </li><li>Ability to develop and articulately present ideas in a user-friendly language </li><li>Ability to multi-task, work well under deadlines, and ability to work well with a cross-functional team to accomplish results </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency as a self-motivated professional </li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Good decision making and time management skills </li><li>Experience in the application of project management methods, standards, and tools </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>IT exposure / experience </li></ul> <p>Education, Certification/License & Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>Completed studies in the field of business informatics, information technology, computer science, business management or a comparable subject area </li><li>2-5 years of experience scoping, planning and leading projects </li></ul> <p>Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.</p> <p>Wondering if you should apply?
