<p>Behavior Technician - Centerville City Schools</p> <p>Centerville City Schools is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs. The Behavior Technician will work under the direction of an Intervention Specialist or Behavior Specialist to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide direct support to students in both general and special education settings. The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of certified staff. </li><li>Collect and document behavioral and academic data to monitor student progress. </li><li>?Provide direct support to students in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one settings </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, and other staff to reinforce positive behaviors and de-escalation strategies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in education, psychology, or related fields preferred). </li><li>Behavior Technician training required (may be completed after being hired) </li><li>Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>?Ability to remain calm, patient, and flexible in challenging situations. </li></ul>
