<p>Position: Production Control Specialist</p> <p>Location: Bloomingdale, GA.</p> <p>Pay: $57k/yr.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). </li><li>Proven experience (3+ years) in production control or manufacturing planning, ideally within the automotive or similar industry. </li><li>Strong knowledge of injection molding, molding, and assembly production processes. </li><li>Familiarity with production planning software (e.g., ERP, MRP). </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). </li><li>Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry a plus. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain an efficient injection production plan to meet customer demands, production capacity, and material availability. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure production schedules align with customer specifications and deadlines. </li><li>Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions to optimize the injection molding process. </li><li>Create detailed molding and assembly production plans in line with company objectives and customer requirements. </li><li>Coordinate the scheduling of molding and assembly activities, considering lead times, labor resources, and machine availability. </li><li>Monitor the execution of production plans, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. </li><li>Develop, update, and manage detailed production schedules for both short-term and long-term production needs. </li><li>Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and avoid production delays. </li><li>Track and report on production progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to stay on schedule. </li><li>Ensure proper inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production requirements. </li><li>Work with the inventory control team to minimize excess stock while avoiding shortages that could halt production. </li><li>Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process improvements. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to increase production efficiency. </li><li>Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at reducing waste, downtime, and cost. </li><li>Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards at each stage of production. </li><li>Address quality concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary. </li><li>Provide regular updates on production status, potential delays, and any issues that may impact production schedules to management. </li><li>Facilitate communication between production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations in all production activities. </li><li>Contribute to a safe working environment by supporting health and safety initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Click 'Apply Now' to submit your application and a recruiter will be connecting with you soon!</p> <p>After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
