Metalcraft of Mayville - Fall River (1st shift positions)</p> <p>SCAG Assemblers in Fall River are assembling SCAG outdoor power equipment.</p> <p>Assemblers are responsible for working directly with team members as well as individually to assemble parts and subassemblies for SCAG products on the assembly smart lines.</p> <p>1st shift positions available: core hours are 6:00a to 2:30p M - F, while on Overtime hours are 5:00a to 2:30p M - F with possibility of Saturday hours 4:00a to 9:00a</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. </li><li>Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates and smart line visuals to assure correct parts, tools, etc. </li><li>Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. </li><li>Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. </li><li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. </li><li>Complete production and quality forms. </li><li>Work with a fast paced team to accomplish productivity goals. </li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments. </li><li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task. </li><li>Good finger and hand dexterity. </li><li>Previous experience working with industrial assembly a plus. </li></ul> <p>Job Expectations</p> <p>Physical Activity:</p> <p>Activity</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Occasionally</p> <p>Frequently</p> <p>Regularly</p> <p>Average lbs.</p> <p>Lift/Carry</p> <p>X</p> <p>50</p> <p>Push/Pull</p> <p>X</p> <p>50</p> <p>Reach Overhead</p> <p>X</p> <p>Comments: Moderate to heavy physical effort required to perform the basis essentials of the job.
