<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>As a Medical Assistant in Saint Mary's Occupational Health office, you will provide clinical and clerical support to the unit including, but not limited to, phlebotomy, EKG''s, obtaining specimens & various testing. Heavy clerical duties involving patient registration, discharge planning, scheduling referrals, chart management, and phone contact.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <p>In this critical role you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, play an active part in unit shared decision making, and enjoy practice autonomy using nurse driven protocols.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Graduate </li><li>Certification: Board certified in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant </li><li>Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding, transcription, record-keeping, and insurance processing.
