<p>Job Title: Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO)</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) with a strong background in construction safety management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of continuous construction safety experience, be passionate about ensuring the safety and health of employees, and possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Strong computer skills and self-direction are essential to succeed in this role.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the sole point of contact for all matters relating to safety. </li><li>Continually enforce and implement the safety requirements of the contract, including the accident prevention plan. </li><li>Coordinate with the facility management team on any needed training, daily inspections, reporting, and other EHS activities. </li><li>Complete regular, standardized reports detailing project safety status and report to management. </li><li>Maintain safety logs, file, and track all site safety reports, injuries, and illnesses. </li><li>Assist in external agency interactions such as OSHA inspectors and OSHA log management. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of continuous safety management experience. </li><li>30-hour OSHA construction card as per USACE EM385-1-1, with applicable training each year. </li><li>Current First Aid/CPR certificate. </li><li>Training in USACE EM385-1-1. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in construction management and federal construction projects. </li><li>Procore proficiency. </li><li>Experience managing subcontractors on vertical construction projects. </li><li>Experience with renovation projects, particularly in a government setting. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
