<p>Echo Lab Manager</p> <p>Pediatric Cardiology</p> <p>The Echo Lab Manager will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform pediatric echocardiography procedures following accepted protocol and utilizes the clinical symptoms and data to aid in preliminary diagnosis. Provides Cardiologist with all pertinent clinical information to aid in the interpretation and diagnosis of echocardiography procedures. Perform complete and limited pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) according to established protocol. </li><li>Accurately obtain imaging for patients across all care environments. Adjust and optimize ultrasound settings for neonates, infants, and children of varying sizes and conditions. Support fetal echocardiography exams by assisting or performing scans depending on training and program needs. </li><li>Assist with pediatric transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures, including probe care and room preparation (if required by the lab). </li><li>Ensure all procedures are performed and properly documented according to department and hospital standards. </li><li>Maintain a high level of technical proficiency by staying up to date in current advances in Pediatric echocardiography ultrasound. </li><li>Responsible for preparing Pediatric echocardiography labs for a successful accreditation process by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular and Echocardiography Labs within specified time frame. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology or equivalent. </li><li>Five (5) years of experience required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) required. </li><li>Knowledge of Pediatric Echocardiography Diagnostic equipment, techniques and procedures required to perform or assist in the performance of clinical tests and procedures. </li><li>High level of interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, and medical, nursing, technical and other staff. </li><li>Specialized skills in pediatric cardiac anatomy, patient handling and communication with children and families. </li><li>BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: 127,764.00 - 204,441.00 USD</p> <p>We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data.
