<p>The HVAC Service Technician provides exceptional customer service and educates customers regarding technical and investment decisions by providing multiple options and solutions while making service calls in customers' homes.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve One Hour clients by expertly servicing and repairing HVAC systems and components. </li><li>Focus on technical excellence in order to live up to the company's unique proposition of Always on Time…Or You Don't Pay a Dime! . </li><li>Utilize the Straight Forward Pricing Guide system, including the True Cost Calculator on each call. </li><li>Assess systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations to clients. Explain to the customer each service and repair performed and make sure that the client is 100% satisfied with all work. </li><li>Test each system after each service or repair is completed prior to leaving the customer's home to make sure that the system is working properly and that it was fixed right the first time. </li><li>Perform a proper inspection of the customer's system to prevent future breakdowns. </li><li>Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure recommendations are written on invoices. </li><li>Explains Club Membership Agreements to every customer and maintain a conversion rate of at least 25% on non-Club Members and a 90% renewal rate on existing Club Members. </li><li>Provide customer leads to the Sales Lead Coordinator when identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements. </li><li>Obey the One Hour Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Two or more years of verifiable HVAC service experience required. </li><li>EPA Type 1 and 2 required. </li><li>NATE certification preferred. </li><li>Must display strong communication skills and technical competence. </li><li>Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year. </li><li>Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record. </li><li>Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects </li><li>Ability to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, wet/humid environments, and/or with vibration </li><li>Working with mechanical and chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and/or poor ventilation </li><li>Ability to climb, talk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles </li></ul>
