<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>Division of Computing, Analytics and Mathematics</p> <p>University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Science and Engineering</p> <p>For more information about the UMKC School of Science and Engineering, visit: https://sse.umkc.edu/</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The UMKC Division of Computing, Analytics and Mathematics is seeking highly qualified adjunct instructors to teach online cybersecurity and AI courses for the project, "Extend and Expand the AI-Cybersecurity Workforce Certification-Based Training Program (CWCT) with AI Literacy Training."</p> <p>Each course typically consists of two evening sessions per week over an eight-week period</p> <p>This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible, unranked/non-tenure track academic position.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>The required qualifications for this position include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field </li><li>At least three years of teaching experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter of the courses to be taught </li><li>Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision </li></ul> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>Applicants apply at https://www.umkc.edu/.
