<p>Description</p> <p>Pennington Seed is searching for a Maintenance Technician for our Greenfield, Missouri location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Maintains the following equipment: All bag line equipment, augers, legs, mixers, seed and grain cleaning and conveying equipment. </li><li>All pesticide impregnating equipment/pumps. </li><li>Services of front- end loaders, forklifts, air compressors and pneumatic valves. </li><li>Pre-shift inspections on all machines. </li><li>Maintain the Filters on Dust Collection System. </li><li>Issues written purchase requests for all the parts and maintenance supplies. </li><li>Perform electrical, plumbing, lube and construction activities as needed throughout the facility. </li><li>Understanding of the department budget. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or GED. </li><li>Basic math skills required. </li><li>Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work indoors and outdoors. </li><li>Must be able to consistently be able to sit, stand and walk throughout the shift depending on the activity which is being performed. </li><li>The presence of airborne dust may require the use of a dust mask respirator depending on the type of product being transported.
