Together, we deliver Hope, Opportunity, Prosperity and Empowerment to thousands of youths, adults and seniors each year.</p> <p>Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for providing organizational support for marketing programs, events and communications campaigns.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist the marketing team in executing marketing and communications programs and campaigns, including marketing and organizational support. </li><li>Help to organize and stage events, including community celebrations such as grand openings and groundbreakings, fundraising programs and corporate gatherings. </li><li>Provide support in documenting marketing programs and events, including photography, social media support, short video and writing. </li><li>Help maintain a library of marketing materials in readiness for use by teams across the company. </li><li>Help track and monitor marketing vendors and service providers. </li><li>Serve as a partner and liaison to event organizers across the organization and our external partners, including organizations such as the Empire Strykers. </li><li>Assist with development of creative strategies to strengthen National CORE's brand, outreach and communications. </li><li>Help gather and present monthly analytics for social media, Chatmeter, Google Ads, website traffic and email communications. </li><li>Assist with other special projects and team tasks as requested. </li><li>Attend company-sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which from time to time may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Proven success in the following job competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong customer relationship and collaborative skills </li><li>Energetic mindset with the talent to tackle multiple tasks in a timely manner. </li><li>Enthusiasm for digital metrics that gauge content performance. </li><li>Above-average tenacity, strong work ethic and desire to constantly improve and share insights. </li><li>Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or higher in communications, marketing, journalism or English </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Regular and on-time attendance. </li><li>Hours may exceed 40 hours per week. </li><li>Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. </li><li>Exposure to various types of weather conditions. </li><li>Sitting, walking, ability to lift 20 pounds. </li><li>Driving </li><li>Operate computer and office equipment. </li></ul> <p>FLSA</p> <ul> <li>Non-exempt </li></ul> <p>PAY</p> <ul> <li>$25 - $26.50/hr </li></ul>
