We develop solutions by leveraging Conning's risk management tools and utilizing a highly disciplined investment process that relies on fundamental analysis.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Insurance Company Engagement (50%)</p> <ul> <li>Play a key role in analysis and strategy development, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of financial models and recommendations. </li><li>Utilize models to analyze insurance operations for clients and prospects. </li><li>Conduct analyses including efficient frontier, duration, and cash flow to develop investment strategy recommendations aligned with clients' financial goals and risk tolerance. </li><li>Summarize work and recommendations in reports for asset management clients and sales prospects. </li><li>Collaborate with portfolio managers to offer advisory services to clients. </li><li>Perform peer analysis using statutory filing data for clients and prospects. </li></ul> <p>Research & Development (25%)</p> <ul> <li>Lead and contribute to projects to enhance the team's capabilities. </li></ul> <p>Sales & Marketing (15%)</p> <ul> <li>Engaging in product, marketing, and business development activities to enhance our market presence and product offerings. </li><li>Assist in developing new products to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market. </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills (10%)</p> <ul> <li>Develop proficiency with the Company's financial modeling tools. </li><li>Collect and structure data necessary for financial model creation. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance, insurance, mathematics, actuarial science, accounting, economics, or a related field. </li><li>A minimum of 4 years of experience in investment management and/or financial services. </li><li>Progress toward a professional designation such as CFA is preferred. </li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills </li><li>Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a project and deadline-driven environment. </li><li>Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time to ensure client and senior advisor satisfaction. </li></ul> <p>No direct reports.</p> <p>Conning is an equal opportunity employer.
