<p>Description</p> <p>Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Psychometrist.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Administer standardized and non-standardized tests of cognitive functions. </li><li>Score all tests administered and prepare an accurate summary of scores and behavioral observations. </li><li>Maintain test equipment. </li><li>Order supplies, equipment and forms as needed. </li><li>Perform occasional administrative support tasks as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or other Behavioral Science. </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience with neuropsychological testing preferred. </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job </li></ul> <p>Performance Requirements:</p> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills including the capacity to evaluate and elicit cooperation from patients with cognitive, behavioral and psychiatric problems. </li><li>Highly motivated, organized, and strong attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills interacting with the other professional and administrative staff. </li><li>Excellent observational skills and the ability to record those observations. </li></ul> <p>Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures. </li><li>Ability to project a pleasant and professional image. </li><li>Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others. </li></ul> <p>Equipment Operated:</p> <ul> <li>Standard medical exam/office equipment, which may include computerized health information management system for medical records, etc. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. Well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space. </li></ul> <p>Mental/Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies. Occasional stress from dealing with many staff and patients. </li></ul>
