<p>Position Opening Announcement</p> <p>EL Coordinator- CUES</p> <p>Part Time</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Master's degree or beyond in education or related field. Previous teaching, administrative, supervisory or leadership experience in the field of [English Learners, Early Learning, Special Education and/or General Education] required. Ohio supervisory and/or administrative license required. Demonstrated effective leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. Proven capability to foster cooperative efforts among educators, colleagues, outside agencies and community.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Assist the Center Director in coordinating the design, development, delivery and evaluation of projects, products and services for English learners</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate the design, development, delivery and implementation of needed projects, products, and services in support of center priorities. </li><li>Coordinate and collaborate with the center director in the design and delivery of effective products and services to customers. </li><li>Plan and coordinate with the center director the marketing and organization of center services. </li><li>Develop positive working relationships with customers, staff and partners. </li><li>Support networks that are compatible with center purposes. </li><li>Promote the sharing of innovative and successful strategies, models and resources among customers, partners and centers. </li><li>Participate in visioning, strategic planning and goal-setting activities for center and lead aligned activities for the center. </li><li>Supervise and evaluate center personnel. </li><li>Participate in the development of financial goals and be accountable for results including budgeting, revenue projections, service costing and pricing. </li><li>Communicate effectively and efficiently with all customers and stakeholders using appropriate methodologies and technologies. </li><li>Seek appropriate grant opportunities and resources to support center services. </li><li>Develop leadership capabilities, collaborative problem solving, and effective learning among center colleagues. </li><li>Maintain and expand knowledge and skills related to EL best practices and compliance, leadership and education. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the center director. </li></ul> <p>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AND ADA STATEMENT:</p> <p>The Hamilton County Educational Service Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer and endeavors to provide the highest quality service through employing professionals selected for their competence and expertise.
