<p>Cherokee Hills Golf Club at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is hiring a Golf Maintenance Associate to provide essential support to the golf course maintenance team, contributing to the overall quality and playability of the course. The Golf Maintenance Associate performs a variety of tasks, including mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, and general groundskeeping, working primarily outdoors in varied weather conditions.</p> <ul> <li>Operates golf course maintenance equipment, small power tools, and manually operated tools. </li><li>Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks, and hillsides. </li><li>Edges the cleans and contributes tocart paths. </li><li>Edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers. </li><li>Sets tee markers and cups on greens daily. </li><li>Maintains ball washers. </li><li>Replaces tee towels and flags, when needed. </li><li>Removes debris, sand and seed tee and drop area divots, and cleans flower beds. </li><li>Operates equipment in an optimum manner and contribute to the daily maintenance of golf equipment. </li><li>No supervisory/management authority. </li><li>Work requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. </li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. , and seed tee and drop-area </li><li>Work involves frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals. </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned. </li><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one (1) year of experience in golf maintenance preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Working knowledge of the game of golf. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to plan short- and long-range goals. </li><li>Great customer service skills. </li><li>Ability to maintain a professional status with guests and vendors. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to maintain close working relationships with management and co-workers. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license. </li></ul>
