<p>The Workplace Operations team is responsible for support manufacturing and non-manufacturing and providing soft services to production, engineering, sales, service, energy, and general and administrative teams. This role will contribute to the team by helping to solve unique problems in a creative and often unconventional manner through the lens of an adaptable and data-driven approach. The Operations Supervisor will lead daily workplace site operations and provide strategic input on creating and maintaining an amazing workplace experience for Giga Nevada employees.</p> <ul> <li>Directly manage the site-specific workplace operations team, daily operations, including janitorial operations, culinary, office space and event management </li><li>Strategically manage site space planning-move and new hire coordination, seating plans, department headcount verification, hotel desk management, lab space, and all new non-manufacturing space requests </li><li>Project manage various facilities and workplace projects and events-define scope, develop logistics plans, identify budgets, create and maintain proper tracking procedures, coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders, communication plans, and follow through completion </li><li>Develop and maintain metrics to track projects, budgets, schedules, and key performance indicators </li><li>Manage and forecast the site-specific department operating and capital expenditure budgets </li><li>In conjunction with the other Workplace team members, assist with process creation, implementation, and maintenance for programs and services workplace offers </li><li>Degree in Business or Operations or equivalent work experience </li><li>Minimum 3 years of Workplace, Facilities or Construction experience </li><li>Minimum 2 years of people management experience </li><li>A customer-centric attitude and enthusiasm to support workplace clients/other departments </li><li>Highly proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills </li><li>Robust problem solving, resourceful, and creative skills with the ability to adapt to fast pace environments under constant changing priorities </li><li>Evidence of exceptional ability </li></ul>
