<p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Title Safety Prog Coord Position Number 388937 Salary Range $30,638.00 - $52,499.00 Hires at Minimum Position Type Classified Staff</p> <p>Department Information</p> <p>Ending Effective Date of Temporary Employment Department Safety Office</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Inspects University buildings, equipment and grounds for compliance with the Office of Risk Management (ORM) Safety and Health requirements.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 30 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Inspects facilities employees for compliance with the Office of Risk Management by recognizing potential hazards and taking the necessary steps to eliminate or reduce the risk of an accident.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 20 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Process and maintain all records associated with the Department of EH&S, including but no limited to: driver certificates, boater certificates, employee training logs, vehicle accidents, fire extinguisher maintenance, fire alarm maintenance and fire sprinkler maintenance programs.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 20 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Conducts annual inspections as required by NFPA 101 Life Safety Code for fire alarm, fire extinguishers and fire sprinkler systems. Runs the authorized driver and boater program as required through Office of Risk Management (ORM).</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 10 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Assist Director with Campus Emergency Management Program and storage and disposal of chemical. Runs the EH&S Departmental Web-page and serves as a liaison to the Department of Environmental Health and Safety and Emergency Operations Center.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 5 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Conducts investigations of accidents and work-related injuries. Determine root causes and circumstances and recommend remedial actions.
