<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys Public Services is seeking a State Health PMO Lead, to join our Team.</p> <p>Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):</p> <p>Project Management & Governance:</p> <ul> <li>Enforce project governance standards, methodologies, and best practices. </li><li>Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. </li><li>Monitor project deliverables to ensure they align with contractual obligations and stakeholder expectations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with state and federal IT regulations. </li></ul> <p>Operational Assistance:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the operation teams with the maintenance, support, and enhancement activities for the Integrated Eligibility System. </li><li>Lead the PMO team in collaborating with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization. </li><li>Track and report service level agreements (SLAs) to help operational teams stay on track. </li><li>Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Risk Management:</p> <ul> <li>As the primary liaison between state agencies, business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors for status meetings, status reports, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with operations leads and service leads to be one voice to the client. </li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. </li><li>Facilitate executive reporting and status updates for agency leadership. </li><li>Lead change management initiatives to ensure the smooth adoption of system enhancements. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Process Improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor the PMO team. </li><li>Drive continuous process improvements to optimize the project status/progress. </li><li>Follow the client hybrid (Agile and/or Waterfall) project management methodologies as needed. </li></ul> <p>Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO. </li><li>Expertise in PMO frameworks, governance, and IT service management (ITIL preferred). </li><li>Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies. </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. </li><li>Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.). </li><li>PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong experience in integrated eligibility systems, health & human services programs, or public sector IT projects. </li><li>Proven ability to manage large-scale M&O engagements in a government environment. </li><li>Prior experience working with state government agencies on IT transformation projects. </li><li>Familiarity with eligibility determination systems, Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or other public benefits programs. </li><li>Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data governance in government IT environments. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. </li></ul> <p>The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.</p>
