<p>The Chickering School in Dover, MA, is seeking a Grade 5 Educational Assistant to work with classroom teachers and students to support academic and social-emotional learning activities, supervise the lunchroom and recess, and assist teachers with materials preparation.</p> <p>Educational Assistants will be provided support and direction from general education staff.</p> <p>Primary responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>To nurture and support students. </li><li>Support and facilitate classroom activities and instruction -Implement designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans </li><li>Communicate with educators regarding student progress -Assist classroom teachers in creating materials for student use. </li><li>Supervision of students </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements: - Associate or Bachelor's degree - Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction - Ability to work well with others - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills - Work the school year calendar, plus 3 extra days.</p> <p>Our district is committed to strengthening opportunities for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
