Applications received after December 18, 2024, may be reviewed depending on search progress and needs, but are not guaranteed full consideration.</p> <p>_<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION:</p> <p>The NSF funded "Developing a new generation of collaborative scientists and citizens through popular media", BIAS project aims to understand how intentionally designed media can improve boys' and girls' perceptions of female scientists and engineers and can increase children's understanding of mixed-gender collaborations in STEM.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Support the day-to-day activities of the mixed methods research that includes an iterative design process involving children ages 3-6 and their adult caretakers, and partnerships between university faculty, PBS station educators, and media developers.</p> <p>Work collaboratively as a team player.</p> <p>Effectively manage tasks.</p> <p>Demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas:</p> <p>? Mixed methods research in the social sciences.</p> <p>? Assessment development, particularly gamified digital assessments.</p> <p>?
