<p>About LCA</p> <p>LCA is an accredited Pre K-12, private Christian School in Bloomington, IN. offering a variety of opportunities from AP classes, IHSAA athletics, and a robust arts program for students to use and develop their God given gifts while being guided by a faculty, staff, and coaches who model our values of Living for the Lord, Caring for the Community, and Advancing in Academics.</p> <p>Job Overview</p> <p>We are seeking an ambitious, full-time Secondary Bible teacher to join our dedicated teaching staff in making an impact on the next generation through Christ-centered education!</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement engaging, biblically-based lessons that align with the mission of our school and encourage spiritual growth, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of God's Word. </li><li>Teach a variety of Bible courses, such as Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Biblical Worldview, and middle school level. </li><li>Cultivate a love for Scripture while helping students apply biblical principles to their daily lives. </li><li>Embrace a holistic approach to education by incorporating prayer, Scripture memorization, and relevant discussions into the classroom. </li><li>Create Christ-centered classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for God and His Word. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to integrate biblical principles across disciplines and develop interdisciplinary projects or initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>A degree or formal training in Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Education, or a related field is required. </li><li>Previous experience working with middle and high school students in a teaching or ministry setting is highly desirable. </li></ul> <p>Additional Expectations</p> <ul> <li>A healthy personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out the Christian faith in daily life. </li><li>Active membership in a local church and alignment with the school's statement of faith. </li><li>A passion for discipling students and helping them develop a biblical worldview. </li></ul>
