Yes VP Area President Department 02342 - Student Access & Resources Location Campus City Salt Lake City, UT Type of Recruitment External Posting Pay Rate Range $13.00 Close Date 07/29/2025 Priority Review Date (Note - Posting may close at any time) Job Summary</p> <p>The Center for Student Access & Resources (CSAR) supports student well-being and success through scholarship opportunities, personalized one-on-one support, community engagement, skill-building, and support navigating higher education systems. The office assistant will be a valuable and engaged member of the CSAR team who welcomes students and guests into CSAR, provides support with tabling and outreach as needed, and directs students to appropriate resources.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Reception / welcome duties</p> <ul> <li>Cover reception desk </li><li>Welcome visitors and orienting students to space </li><li>Notify CSAR staff when students arrive for their meetings/appointments </li><li>Assist students in effectively identifying and accessing resources across campus </li><li>Conduct CSAR office tours as needed </li><li>Act as a role model of positive behavior, representing the CSAR with pride and respect </li></ul> <p>Office duties</p> <ul> <li>Track event attendance </li><li>Update events in Campus Connect </li><li>Clean lounge and meeting areas </li><li>Check the mail & organize new orders </li></ul> <p>Outreach duties, as needed</p> <ul> <li>Staff tabling events Programming duties </li><li>Assist Student Resource Navigators with programming and workshops </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be a current University of Utah student with at least 1 year of college credits completed </li><li>Financial aid package for the 2025-2026 academic year must include a Federal Work-Study award. you have not received a Federal Work-Study Award, then do NOT complete or submit this application.
