<p>Job Title: Environmental Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to foster a culture aligned with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals, focusing on continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires leadership in managing EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory laws and company policies.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage, direct, coach, lead, and motivate plant personnel to achieve EHS goals and objectives safely and promptly. </li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs to maintain and exceed compliance with relevant regulatory laws. </li><li>Oversee all environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits, including air, wastewater, storm water, chemical, and waste disposal/recycling. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate filing of records to demonstrate compliance with federal, state, and company programs. </li><li>Drive environmental stewardship through management systems ensuring compliance with all regulations. </li><li>Maintain all necessary records and documents. </li><li>Develop and deliver EHS compliance training. </li><li>Manage and perform hands-on monitoring and measurement. </li><li>Lead cross-functional teams to implement environmental improvement projects in the aerospace industry. </li><li>Evaluate processes to optimize, minimize, or eliminate waste and reduce water usage. </li><li>Oversee contractor management of the wastewater treatment and discharge program. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in compliance and safety regulations. </li><li>Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables. </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong math skills. </li><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret EHS regulations and technical reports. </li><li>At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing environmental engineering preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. </li><li>Background in environmental science, environmental safety, or remediation. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a full-time, on-site position from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working both on the manufacturing floor and in an office setting.
