Direct supervision by an Interventional Radiologic Technologist is required.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Performs IR procedures at an appropriate level of competency. </li><li>Collects and researches patient information related to procedure including but not limited to lab results and health history. </li><li>Knowledgeable of sterile field and aseptic techniques. </li><li>Competent in set up for each procedure and assist Radiologist or Nurse Practitioner. </li><li>Keeps area supplied and clean. </li><li>Participates in in-services. </li><li>Participates in room turn over between procedures. </li><li>Monitors vital signs as necessary. </li><li>Performs EMR and PACS functions as necessary. </li><li>Maintains equipment to decrease downtime and overtime expense. </li><li>Participates in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives. </li><li>Communicates appropriately with hospital staff, and physicians. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.' </li></ul> <p>Education/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required </li><li>Must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited school for Radiology Technology.
