<p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Onsite)</p> <p>Location: Corporate Headquarters, Battle Creek, MI</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>We're looking for a tech-savvy HR professional who enjoys working with data and systems to join our mission-driven organization. This role is the primary user and administrator of our HRIS (UKG) and the go-to person for payroll and workforce reporting. If you're energized by clean data, accurate payroll, Excel reporting, and finding smarter ways to work-including using AI tools-this role was built for you.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary HRIS and Time & Attendance power user (UKG) </li><li>Prepare, run, audit, and deliver payroll and employee data reports using UKG and Excel </li><li>Maintain and validate HR and payroll data for accuracy, compliance, and deadlines </li><li>Process employee lifecycle changes related to payroll (new hires, status changes, time off, terminations) </li><li>Build and maintain Excel-based reports used for payroll, audits, and internal tracking </li><li>Train supervisors on HRIS use and best practices </li><li>Support compliance reporting (EEO, E-Verify, VETS-4212, unemployment, as needed) </li><li>Partner with HR leadership on data requests and process improvement </li><li>Explore and leverage technology and AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot) to improve efficiency and reporting quality </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Strong software proficiency in payroll, HRIS, financial, or data systems </li><li>Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, reporting, data validation) </li><li>Experience using UKG (HRIS and/or Time & Attendance) strongly preferred </li><li>Comfort working with confidential employee and payroll data </li><li>Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy </li><li>Curious, problem-solving mindset and openness to using AI and new tools </li><li>Ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users </li><li>High school diploma with 5+ years of clerical, HR, payroll, or data-heavy administrative experience </li><li>OR Associates' degree in Business, HR, Accounting, or related field </li><li>Payroll processing experience preferred </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) </li></ul>
