<p>The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible installing, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical equipment at facility. This position keeps the facility operating, repairing any problems as discovered and perform preventive maintenance.</p> <ul> <li>Perform mechanical duties required on processing/storage facility and equipment </li><li>Completion of Preventative Maintenance Checklist and sheet metal fabrication installation </li><li>Install and repair pneumatics, hydraulic systems, electrical and sheet metal fabrication </li><li>Repairs processing equipment, structure and assist with facility breakdown. </li><li>Apply preventative measures to the building and equipment to reduce future risk and problems. </li><li>Resolve potential safety hazards to avoid injuries </li><li>Perform general repairs, installations, and routine maintenance on plant equipment as required or scheduled. </li><li>Perform a variety of different tasks during non-production periods. </li><li>3 years general mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Basic knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. </li><li>Good problem-solving and decision-making skills </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) desired </li><li>Good mechanical, verbal, and written communication skills </li><li>Self-starter with excellent organizational skills </li><li>Ability to assess priorities of work area, organize workload, and meet deadlines </li><li>Good with interpersonal skills for interacting with direct reports and with employees in other departments. </li></ul>
