In this position, you will interpret Oregon Revised Statutes and apply state abuse rules, and standards of practice in situations where abuse factors have been identified. You will review abuse investigation reports completed by APD/AAA Adult Protective Service Specialists (APSS) for statute and rule compliance to ensure they meet investigation standards and to ensure the report can be used as source of information to ensure safety and protection of consumers. Apply today!</p> <p>Summary of Duties</p> <p>As an Adult Protective Services Program Analyst, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Review abuse investigation reports to ensure established core competencies for protective services and investigation are met, including evaluating statutory requirements of timeless, objectivity and thoroughness and compliance to policy, rules, or other requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the standard series of activities for APS Specialists required by administrative rule, policy, or best practice, align with standards for: screening, framing allegations, appropriate response times, assessments, interview protocols, application of privacy laws or use of PHI, documentary observations, documentary evidence, findings of fact, notifications, and review/appeal procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate administrative process procedures as they relate to abuse findings; and when necessary, amendments of all materials such as the investigative report, including final disposition of the finding.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with the Department of Justice in preparing legal defense and representing the Department in judicial review processes related to APS activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform ongoing review and revision of program guidelines and policies; participation in the development and revision of administrative rules and statutes to guide program operations and the use of administrative rules to plan service delivery as well as improve the performance and efficiency of investigative practice and protective services.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for this position or an appropriate form of transportation.</p> <p>A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years experience coordinating or administering a program</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.</p> <p>Essential Attributes</p> <p>We are looking for candidates with:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with conflict resolution, inclusivity, collaboration and advancing equity to overcome challenges.</p> </li><li> <p>High level technical knowledge of Adult Protective Services (APD) State and Federal systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience identifying complex problems and reviewing related info to develop/evaluate options and implement solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience fact finding and work measurement techniques to program and organizational systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Attention all candidates!
