<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the full lifecycle management of all doctor partnerships, contracting, joint ventures and practice acquisition transactions, including: pipeline management, market analytics, financial modeling, valuation and investment analysis of potential acquisitions, creation of memorandums and supporting documentation and all aspects of deal due diligence.</p> <p>Additionally, this role will support preparation and post-close assistance of integration work streams and support the ECP's strategic analytics function. Business Development and Analytics represent fundamental core competencies of ECP's growth strategy.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Actively participate in and lead aspects of transactions and strategic growth analyses </li><li>Manage the deal pipeline by researching industry dynamics, identifying and screening potential acquisitions, and tracking potential targets </li><li>Assesses transaction and strategic opportunities through extensive analyses and develop business cases </li><li>Lead cultivation of acquisition targets within served and adjacent markets </li><li>Prepare financial, qualitative and valuation analyses, including: forecasts, cash flows, financial models, and other ad hoc financial analyses related to acquisition activities </li><li>Develop and maintain complex financial valuation models for potential deals </li><li>Support the internal/external due diligence process by managing interactions with all intermediaries (banker, broker, internal stakeholders, 3rd party advisors, etc.) involvement in potential and actual deals </li><li>Maintain tracking and documentation for deals and support preparation of internal communications on investment </li><li>Support the post-merger implementation/integration process with a dozen-plus internal business groups </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Strong finance/accounting and analytical skills </li><li>Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills </li><li>Experience with data analytics using SQL and PowerBI </li><li>Understanding of foundational valuation methodologies and terminology </li><li>Ability to handle multiple, complex and competing priorities and projects </li><li>Outstanding attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work independently and make appropriate, independent decisions in a timely manner </li><li>Must possess strong initiative and take ultimate ownership of work </li><li>Solid work ethic and the ability to work through sensitive financial topics with business owners </li><li>A strong desire to succeed coupled with high ethical standards </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A. in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics </li><li>Minimum Required: Zero to three years of experience in a finance or business background, particularly transaction execution experience in corporate development, investment banking, or accounting advisory </li></ul> <p>LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Required: None </li></ul> <p>SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook </li></ul> <p>LOCATION</p> <ul> <li>This position is located in St Louis, Missouri and offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N.
