<p>Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (Per Diem)</p> <p>Pay Range: $31.00/hr</p> <p>Schedule: This per diem position requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per month to maintain active employment status. BAMSI's mission is to meet each person where they are so they can learn, grow, and thrive.?BAMSI is committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Accessibility; to creating a holistic system of care; and to abolishing the stigmas surrounding mental illness, disability, and addiction.</p> <p>Why BAMSI:</p> <p>When you join BAMSI's nursing team, you join a group of dedicated care givers, both RN's and LPN's who enjoy making lives better through hands on, personalized direct care that challenge critical thinking, analytical abilities, and support for wellness.?Hear what some of our employees have to say about their career journey with BAMSI.</p> <p>Meet, Jamie!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Per Diem Nurses are expected to provide medical assessment, care to persons served and other essential functions such as cleaning, driving the van, etc.; communicate professionally to persons served and their families, BAMSI employees, funders, and other stakeholders; complete documentation requirements; and, fulfill other duties as outlined in the Per Diem Agreement.</p> <p>Work Obligations:</p> <ul> <li>16 hours per month. Hours will be audited on a monthly basis. Weekends start at 3PM on Fridays and conclude at 9AM on Mondays. Hours will be audited on a monthly basis. </li><li>Per Diem must work a minimum of one major holiday between July 1 and June 30th each year. BAMSI will assign employees to either Group A or Group B. Employees are responsible for selecting and working one of the holidays identified in their group. Holiday groupings will rotate every year, and you will be notified of your assigned group annually. Holidays will be audited on a quarterly basis. Pick a holiday group: Group A: New Year's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve Group B: July 4th, Christmas, Memorial Day, and New Year's Eve. </li><li>Employees are responsible for scheduling, working, and documenting hours worked. </li><li>Employees who fail to work the minimum hours per month will receive a warning on their first offense. Employees may be subject to termination on their second offense. Employees who fail to work one holiday within the year may be subject to termination. </li><li>Per Diems are obligated to work all shift for which they are scheduled unless it is impossible to do so because of illness or other emergency. If Per Diems are unable to work a scheduled shift, they must speak directly to the program supervisor or on-call manager by phone and give as much notice as possible, but a minimum of three </li><li>Per Diems are required to complete mandatory trainings within their first 60 days of employment. Per Diems are only eligible to work after they complete all required trainings. Per diems must keep all required trainings current. </li></ul> <p>Benefits. Per Diems are eligible to participate in the BAMSI 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan and any other legally required programs that may have service requirements or other eligibility requirements for participation, such as the Massachusetts Earned Sick Time Law, M.G.
