<p>Passaic County Community College is seeking a part-time Project Coordinator who is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and implementation of the Mental Health in Higher Education Community Provider Partnerships and Professional Development program. The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Director.</p> <p>Example of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the day-to-day implementation of project activities including connecting and coordinating with key Passaic programs and community partners to expand mental health awareness, support and services beyond what the college is already providing. </li><li>Coordinate professional development activities for the project. </li><li>Track student participation in activities and services. </li><li>Provide short term mental health counseling </li><li>Assess, screen,and refer to community partner for mental health services </li><li>Track faculty and staff participation in professional development opportunities. </li><li>Order supplies and materials for the program. </li><li>Participate in program evaluation. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Counseling or related field required. </li><li>Master's in mental helath related field preferred, or presently enrolled in master's program </li><li>Experience with working with underserved students. </li><li>Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred. </li></ul> <p>The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.</p> <p>Please apply using your legal first and last name.</p> <p>Compensation: Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $23.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.) </li><li>Employee Assistance Program provides free, confidential, limited counseling services, work-life assistance, legal and financial guidance. </li><li>Commuter Benefits: Free parking access is provided on site.
