This includes simulating (or acting out) a specific set of behaviors, symptoms, and problems related to illness or injury based on a patient case including: Patient Examinations, Written and Verbal Communication, Patient Counseling, Patient Education.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Accurately and consistently portray the physical, emotional, and mental characteristics of a simulated patient case for each encounter. </li><li>Training for Case Portrayal. Assess the learner based on the details of each encounter and document the findings in written or verbal feedback form. Pre-Brief and Debrief Event with faculty or simulation staff.
