<p>If you are a current employee, faculty or adjunct instructor at Herzing University (not a Contractor or temporary employee through a staffing agency), please click here to log in to UKG and then navigate to Menu > Myself > My Company > View Opportunities to apply using the internal application process.</p> <p>Hours: 40 hours per week during the department's hours of operation and one late evening per week with the possibility of occasional weekend hours. 2 days per week can be remote work days.</p> <p>This position requires residency in the South Region with required travel to the Regional Campuses.</p> <p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of one-year Senior level Financial Aid or related work experience required. </li><li>3-5 years of Title IV administration experience preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li></ul> <p>PAY:</p> <p>Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The hourly pay range for this position is $25.95 to $35.12.</p> <p>Click Here to learn more about careers at Herzing University.</p> <p>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Meet with new students to understand funding needs, provide guidance on completion of the FAFSA and required documents, and review eligibility for funding options including Federal Title IV funds, scholarships, state funding, and military funds. </li><li>Utilize financial aid software to review student documents and eligibility criteria to finalize financial aid awards. </li><li>Provide gap funding options to students and support students in determining the best option to meet their financial needs and support their educational goals. </li><li>Counsel students on financial literacy and wellness topics for the purpose of educating and encouraging responsible borrowing practices. </li><li>Manage a student caseload, striving to build relationships and support students in resolving all matters related to their financial aid funding. </li><li>Perform regular outreach to students requiring action including needed documents, loan acceptance, and past due balances. </li><li>Revise financial aid award packages due to updates such as changes in course schedules, approved breaks, eligibility changes, and other factors. </li><li>Troubleshoot disbursement rejects and resolve factors preventing timely disbursement of funding. </li><li>Provide an average of 5 hours per week assisting with management responsibilities for the team or region. Examples may include, but are not limited to, management of Federal Work Study staff, managing team processes, responding to staff questions, leading projects, and assisting with onboarding new team members. </li><li>Dedication to continuous improvement especially in the areas of student satisfaction and accuracy. </li><li>Demonstrate all aspects of the PRICE of Success. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Herzing University is committed to providing a diverse environment and is dedicated to fostering a culture and atmosphere of mutual respect.
