<p>Shipping Clerk</p> <p>Location: Warren, Michigan</p> <p>Shift: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM</p> <p>MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive individuals to join our team as a Shipping Clerk at our Warren, Michigan facility.</p> <p>MMI Engineered Solutions is an established yet growing enterprise providing world-class engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. We engineer innovative solutions to meet today's complex design and manufacturing challenges.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery to our customers at Warren Facility. Shift 1:00 PM- 9:00PM.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Ensure FIFO in all outgoing finish goods. </li><li>Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies (Scheduling). </li><li>Maintain records on incoming/outgoing shipments with the correct paperwork. </li><li>Ensure to send an ASN (advance shipping Notification) to all applicable customers once shipment leaves. </li><li>Collaborate and communicate with the MMI's team, management, customers, and other individuals involved. </li><li>Support Shippers on any work-related needs/issues. </li><li>Utilize knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. </li><li>Tacks, traces, and updates of the status of shipments. </li><li>Maintain and oversee shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other shipping records to understand shipping priorities and assignments. </li><li>Load & Unload Trucks with a forklift as needed (making sure the proper load goes on the proper truck). </li><li>Position will require extensive reaching, lifting and including climbing on and off a forklift regularly throughout the shift.Certain jobs may require operation of manual and power hand tools. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Clear Communication Skill </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Scanning and sorting outgoing stock </li><li>Pulling, packing, and loading </li><li>Able to work independently within a team. </li><li>Strong sense of time organization skills </li><li>Forklift Experience </li><li>Knowledge & Experience </li><li>2 years Supervisory experience. </li><li>3 - 5 years' experience in shipping and receiving </li></ul> <p>Compliance with Quality Management Standards& Safety PRocedures.</p>
