We are currently seeking a Night shift Inspector/Construction Coordinator to join our team at the Tampa airport.</p> <p>Works in direct collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Engineer for specific assigned?duties required in the execution of the work and serves as a coordination?resource to the project team</p> <p>Monitors night shift field activities of assigned subcontractors, reports on progress of the?work for assigned contractors, and assists in identification and verification of any?required remediation activities for non-conforming work</p> <p>Assists with data recording through daily reports and job site photos and input for weekly and?monthly status reports</p> <p>Becomes familiar with all pertinent Contract documents as well as Project?software and controls systems</p> <p>Observes and monitors construction for conformance with the plans,?specifications and industry practices</p> <p>Maintains accurate records of the contractors performance and progress</p> <p>Assists the PM in verifying quantities of work performed and materials used, as?backup for the progress payments</p> <p>Monitors construction safety and notifies the Contractor's supervision and HCAA?HSE of any observed unsafe practices or conditions. Keeps public safety in mind?at all times.</p> <p>Reviews look ahead schedules with Contractors staff (field and office), PM and?others to determine upcoming work activities, testing/inspection requirements,?equipment needs, coordination requirements, etc. prior to each OAC meeting.?Briefs HCAA PM on these items.</p> <p>Stays familiar with ongoing coordination efforts between projects in the vicinity,?as well as tasks within the project limits as work areas shift and progress</p> <p>Immediately notifies HCAA PM of any observed out of sequence activities, issues?of concern, quality issues, etc. and provides recommendations for reconciliation?and/or correction</p> <p>Stays familiar with Airport Operations, necessary security protocols and Airport?notification processes (i.e. SIRs, MCNs, NOTAMs, etc.) so that work can?continue in a timely manner. Assists PM as needed in these areas with particular?attention to upcoming work efforts that require notifications.</p> <p>We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. Provides copies to HCAA PM and/or Project Files on a weekly basis</p> <p>Is available to work extended hours and weekends, as needed, with appropriate?notification as work progresses and work schedules dictate</p> <p>Provides open and honest communication to HCAA Staff and others as required,?both oral and written, depending on the situation at hand. Works closely with PM on dissemination of information.</p> <p>Participates in necessary meetings with Contractor and HCAA staff as needed?including OAC meetings, Safety Meetings, QA/QC Meetings, Pre-Activity?Meetings, Follow-Up Inspections, etc.</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>90,000.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>130,000.00</p> <p>Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
