Communication methods include the use of a computer-based telephone system console, public address and digital paging system, and a radio based network. The Lead Console Operator will train new hires and update policies and procedures.</p> <p>This is a highly visible position providing quality customer service to our staff and the public. It requires an excellent working knowledge of the TidalHealth's departments and their function, and hours of operation. Considering the high level of confidentiality regarding patient information, the Operator must be responsible and use excellent judgment in this position.</p> <p>Lead Console Operator Position Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or G.E.D is required. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must have experience in a Customer Service environment. </li><li>Previous switchboard experience in a fast-paced environment preferred, but not required. </li></ul> <p>Lead Console Operator Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $16.26 - $21.96 Commensurate with experience</p>
