Our site, Albéa Shelbyville is specialized in Laminate Tubes for Oral, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Markets.</p> <p>Scope</p> <p>Responsible for providing inks, coatings, and mounting of plates for the Gallus press in support of production, cleaning and rebuilding in chambers while adhering to Company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction.</p> <p>Main activities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor Gallus print schedule and pre-prep Gallus press by pulling file and jacket for upcoming orders and mounting plates, cleaning ink chambers, and providing inks. </li><li>Assist Gallus press operators as needed. </li><li>Check plates for defects and monitor plate inventory. </li><li>Recommend replacement plates as needed. </li><li>Keep filing system in order. </li><li>Exercise 5S and optimum housekeeping efforts. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor. </li><li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Accountability including KPIs</p> <ul> <li>Ensure jobs are mounted in a timely manner. </li><li>Ensure jobs are prepped (ink gathered and blended) if time allows. </li><li>Assist with set ups on the line. </li><li>Ensuring when jobs are done, the plates are cleaned and returned to the proper filing. </li></ul> <p>Profile (Experience & qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>Some experience in printing and plate making helpful. Basic math skills. </li><li>Basic computer skills. </li><li>Good mechanical ability. </li><li>Good communication skills, verbal and written. </li><li>Organized and self-motivated to plan daily work and set priorities. </li><li>Ability to work well in team environment. </li><li>Ability to Multitask. </li></ul>
