From global events and enterprise broadcasts to AI-powered video intelligence at the edge, Wowza provides the most trusted, extensible, and developer-friendly streaming platform on the market</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The HR Lead will own the day-to-day HR function end-to-end for approximately 90 -100 employees on a global scale. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a consistent employee experience, ensuring strong compliance foundations, administering benefits, and implementing scalable performance and engagement systems as the company grows.</p> <p>This role partners closely with leadership and serves as the primary point of contact for all HR operations.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <p>Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations</p> <ul> <li>Serve as primary HR contact for employee support and guidance </li><li>Own onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring consistency and compliance </li><li>Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR policies </li><li>Standardize and continuously improve HR processes </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Own HR compliance across federal, state, and local requirements </li><li>Manage documentation, audits, and required reporting through Rippling </li><li>Partner with leadership and legal counsel as needed on employee relations matters </li><li>Ensure consistent handling of employee issues and investigations </li></ul> <p>Benefits Administration</p> <ul> <li>Administer company benefits programs and serve as employee resource </li><li>Improve benefits communication and enrollment processes </li><li>Partner with brokers/vendors to optimize plans and cost efficiency </li></ul> <p>Performance & Manager Enablement</p> <ul> <li>Build and manage lightweight performance management cadence </li><li>Increase adoption of goal-setting and performance tracking tools (Rippling) </li></ul> <p>Engagement & Culture</p> <ul> <li>Implement and leverage employee engagement measurement </li><li>Drive recognition programs and internal communication cadence </li><li>Support culture initiatives aligned with company values </li></ul> <p>HR Systems & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Own HRIS administration (Rippling) </li><li>Provide monthly People metrics update to leadership (wins, risks, decisions needed) </li><li>Track HR operational metrics and recommend improvements </li></ul> <p>Success Metrics</p> <ul> <li>Ownership of onboarding processes </li><li>Ownership of offboarding processes </li><li>Ownership of salary updates (raises, promotions, comp changes in system) </li><li>Improved employee response time and HR clarity </li><li>Increased adoption of performance tools </li><li>Engagement trend improvement over time </li><li>Reduced executive time spent on HR escalations </li></ul>
