<p>Job Title: Test Engineering Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware and inspect mechanical and electrical components. Assist in writing technical work instructions while adhering to the quality management system AS9100.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct environmental testing on spaceflight hardware. </li><li>Inspect mechanical and electrical components for quality assurance. </li><li>Assist in the development and writing of technical work instructions. </li><li>Adhere to the AS9100 quality management system standards. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with environmental testing techniques such as static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration. </li><li>Proficiency with inspection tools including torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters. </li><li>Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system. </li><li>Ability to write and interpret technical work instructions. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is based in a manufacturing environment located in Longmont, CO, also known as the RF Center of Excellence. This site focuses on RF-related applications and supports space applications, including the Falccon Broadband Space Antenna project.
