No</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Sterilizes instruments for students and faculty to ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains infection control areas to ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains enventory of supplies to ensure availability of instruments for students and faculty.</p> </li><li> <p>Dispenses and collects supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Collects data and maintains reports to ensure proper infection control standards are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Ability to understand and interpret state and OSHA rules and regulations regarding sterilization procedures, and infection control.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive, punctual and reliable.</p> </li></ol> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Ability to communicate effectively with others.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels.</p> </li><li> <p>May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to sterilization machinery, plastic wrappings, pens, pencils and computer keyboards.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift dental instrumentation trays.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposed to dental materials or chemicals used in dental operatories or laboratories including, but not limited to latex, acrylic, glutaraldehyde, etc.</p> </li></ol> <p>Required Certifications/Licensures:</p> <p>Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent</p> <p>Major (if required:</p> <p>Required Experience: None</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Computer skills.</p> </li><li> <p>One year (1) of experience in a dental office or hospital setting.</p> </li></ol> <p>Is this a safety sensitive position?
