<p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Be thoroughly familiar with warehouse and mine equipment (forklifts, loaders, trucks, etc.) </li><li>Assist warehouse personnel with tasks when warranted including (counts, housekeeping, etc.) </li><li>Communicate with mine officials about cores and parts returns. </li><li>Occasionally need to pull, pack materials, and prepare documents for orders to ship to mines or other warehouses. </li><li>Keeps a clean and safe work area. </li><li>Supports Blackhawk's needs in a timely and professional manner. </li><li>Follows all Company safety guidelines. </li><li>Assists in the identification and removal of excess and/or obsolete inventory as required. </li><li>Promptly notify appropriate individuals when materials are received from suppliers. </li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule to cover other shifts in the event of an emergency or vacation period. </li><li>Performs other job responsibilities and duties as assigned by Management. </li><li>Conducts all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations. </li></ul> <p>General Job Requirements - Must be able to proficiently:</p> <ul> <li>Have good communication skills written and verbal. </li><li>Knowledge of Warehouse equipment operation i.e. forklifts. </li><li>Must be able to follow specific instructions while performing primary responsibility duties. </li><li>Perform to established standards of work performance and conduct. </li><li>Must display the necessary and consistent energy in performing job tasks. </li><li>Have acceptable mental and physical dexterity to complete job tasks. Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. occasionally. </li><li>Be able to work in a Team-oriented environment. </li><li>Follow specific instructions while maintaining acceptable established standards of work performance and conduct. </li><li>Exhibit acceptable interpersonal skills and the continuous ability to work in and promote a team-oriented atmosphere. </li></ul> <p>Position Prerequisites/Preferences/Certifications/Qualifications :</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Clean driving record. </li><li>Familiar with forklift and other warehouse equipment operation. </li></ul> <p>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
