Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director - Game/Events, oversee collegiate athletic experiences and possess a strong knowledge of sports; must show a commitment to high academic standards.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the distribution of athletic visitors guides to opposing teams. </li><li>Assist in all aspects of the USM Golf Classic. </li><li>Assist with the USM Spire Club and Athletic Partnership Program for distribution of marketing materials. </li><li>Game day management and assistance with on-field/court promotions. </li><li>Working nights, weekends, and holidays is an essential function of this position. </li><li>Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner at all times. </li><li>Assist with university and athletic special event planning. </li><li>Provide quality customer service to fans and constituents. </li><li>Assist with game management protocols, procedures and setup/breakdown for all home events. </li><li>Learn the details and responsibilities necessary to operate all music, scoreboard, game/play clocks, and public address duties at all athletic events. </li><li>Knowledge of the NAIA and KCAC competition guidelines </li><li>Assist with the supervision of student workers. </li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in USM Livestream Broadcasting operations and knowledge or ability to learn broadcasting software including but not limited to; NewTek TriCaster, Blueframe Production Truck, Stretch Internet WireCast. </li><li>Understand and show proficiency or ability to learn livestream broadcasting crew position responsibilities such as camera operations, graphics, instant replay, play-by-play/color broadcast announcing, etc. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the athletic administration staff. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required. </li><li>Must meet eligibility for USM Graduate Assistantship program which includes acceptance into one of the USM graduate programs. </li><li>Effective and positive interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must be able to successfully pass required background screening as appropriate. </li><li>Affinity with the overall mission of the University of Saint Mary. </li></ul> <p>TO APPLY:</p> <p>Submit a cover letter, resume and contact information for at least three current professional references.</p> <p>Saint Mary is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>Questions: email human resources at hr@stmary.edu</p>
