<p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Continuous Improvement Coordinator supports daily VOS (Vertiv Operating System) activities across two manufacturing sites. This role collects data, maintains visual systems, performs audits, and ensures key CI processes operate consistently. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and comfortable working on the production floor with teams across departments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct weekly 5S audits, track corrective actions, and follow up on overdue items. </li><li>Perform random LSW (Leader Standard Work) audits and maintain updated user rosters. </li><li>Track Tier meeting attainment and ensure Tier boards have complete/up-to-date training matrices and visuals. </li><li>Maintain visual management boards (printing materials, updating information, allocating magnets/labels). </li><li>Support workshops and meetings by preparing prework packets, attendance, meeting minutes, and logistics. </li><li>Gather quotes and submit CI-related orders through iProcurement. </li><li>Maintain a centralized document library for all standard templates and CI documents. </li><li>Pull CI Idea System reports and prepare summaries for review. </li><li>Take photos, notes, and document findings from 5S walks and CI activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or fast-paced industrial environments. </li><li>Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Strong communication and people skills; personable and comfortable interacting with all levels. </li><li>Ability to stay organized, follow structured processes, and handle routine tasks with urgency. </li><li>Problem-solving ability and willingness to think outside the box. </li><li>Comfortable working under pressure and shifting priorities. </li><li>Ability to travel regularly between two local sites. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish). </li><li>Experience with Lean, 5S, LSW, Tier boards, CI, or visual management. </li><li>Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies or auditing roles. </li></ul> <p>Physical & Environmental Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Frequent walking on the production floor; occasional standing during audits or meetings. </li><li>Must follow PPE and safety requirements. </li><li>Work performed in both office and manufacturing environments. </li></ul>
