<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, for in patient and out patients of all ages.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <p>High school graduate or equivalent required.</p> <p>Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Previous RT experience strongly preferred.</p> <p>Previous patient care experience preferred.</p> <p>Appropriate clinical rotations during the RT program are considered as satisfactory experience.</p> <p>Licensure and/or Certification</p> <p>Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.</p> <p>RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.</p> <p>BLS healthcare provider required.</p> <p>NPR certification required within 6 months of hire.</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortable during procedures.</p> <p>Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.</p> <p>Computer skills required.</p> <p>Ability to maintain confidential information.</p>
