Candidates may be expected to be qualified to use negative pressure respirators. Valid NYS drivers license required.</p> <p>OPERATING NEEDS:</p> <p>Ability to perform a variety of routine unskilled and semiskilled manual tasks related to heating and / or air-conditioning plant or in the mechanical equipment rooms of University owned buildings.</p> <p>Ability to participate in in-service training courses and on-the job instruction in the fundamentals of utility plant operation and engineering.</p> <p>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; work from heights, both on platforms and ladders up to 20 feet, and navigate stairs throughout duration of shift.</p> <p>Valid NYS driver's license required.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Applicants must demonstrate an ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within our diverse campus community </li><li>Applicants must demonstrate an ability to support diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging relative to their role </li><li>Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
