<p>Supports Security Service Federal Credit Union in becoming America's Best Credit Union by following our purpose of enriching the lives of our members with beneficial financial solutions and a lifetime of service excellence inspired by our Core Values. Is an expert in advanced member service and operational skillsets including SSFCU products and services. Maintains a member centric focus through a consultative sales approach by proactively identifying and meeting needs with beneficial financial solutions through education and SSFCU products and services. Supports sales efforts with integrity and guidelines set forth by SSFCU. Assists internal/external members in an enthusiastic, courteous, and professional manner by providing solutions, resolving issues, following up and creating a positive member experience. Fosters a teamwork attitude to ensure all credit union goals and objectives are achieved. May be given the authority to review and research high risk transactions to perform transaction overrides. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.</p> <p>Pay $23.00-$27.00hr. based on relevant experience.</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years of financial institution experience in Member Service or Cash Operations or comparable experience in cash handling, customer service, or sales experience, or supervisory experience. Excellent written and verbal skills and professional demeanor with the ability to communicate to internal and external customers, adhering to confidential practices relevant to a financial environment. Extensive computer skills in electronic communication, ability to search for information on internal intranet, and utilizes electronic resources and equipment. Work in a fast-paced sales and transactional environment while multi-tasking. At management discretion employee may be required to complete, within 180 days of request, federal registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) as required by the Secure and Fair Enforcement of Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.A.F.E. Act). If registered, must maintain active registration, and comply with all requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act, including but not limited to, providing their unique identifier, and ensuring the Registry is updated with significant changes (i.e., name changes and reportable changes to legal or regulatory actions) within 30 days and must update employment and personal information in the Registry as required. If required to register as an MLO, will successfully pass a background check against the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Excluded Parties List (EPL), the HUD Limited Denial of Participation List (LDP List), and the Federal Housing Finance Agency's (FHFA) Suspended Counterparty Program (SCP) list as required by secondary market investors. Responsible for the opening and closing of the branch including balancing of branch accounts and reconciliation of general ledgers. Provide guidance and coaching to other members of the team. Processes member requests without supervision in a proficient, timely and accurate manner ensuring to follow all applicable SSFCU policies and procedures. Responds and guides peers with internal/external member inquiries by providing appropriate solutions and problem solving in basic and escalated or complex situations. Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/ practices/ procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties. Make decisions and determinations within SSFCU policies, standards, and fraud policy. Provides assistance to other locations, that includes travel to and from other branches for work and/or training. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.
