This is an ideal role for someone in their engineering career who enjoys solving real-world problems, working directly with customers, and building custom solutions that deliver immediate business value.</p> <p>You will work closely with experienced engineers and stakeholders across Workable to deliver technical solutions-including data migrations, custom reports, account automations, and integrations-that help our customers get the most out of our platform.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Technical Solution Implementation</p> <ul> <li>Deliver technical solutions of varying size and scope, ensuring they align with client expectations and project timelines. </li><li>Custom Integrations: Determine feasibility, gather requirements, develop, test, and deploy integrations tailored to client needs. </li><li>Data Migrations: Execute the secure and accurate transfer of legacy data into the platform. </li><li>Custom Reporting: Develop SQL-based queries and provide clear data visualizations. </li><li>Internal Tooling: Lead the implementation of internal tools, including requirement gathering, technical design documentation, and ongoing maintenance. </li><li>Account Configuration: Execute complex, customized feature sets within customer accounts to meet specific business logic requirements. </li></ul> <p>Implementation Management & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Work in lockstep with Implementation Managers to ensure a seamless transition from sales to a fully onboarded state. </li><li>Project Alignment: Partner with IMs to define technical milestones within the broader project plan, providing accurate ETAs for deliverables. </li><li>Strategic Scoping: Assist IMs in identifying potential technical "blockers" early in the implementation lifecycle and proposing creative workarounds. </li><li>Client Communication: Support IMs during technical deep-dives with clients, translating complex technical processes into business-value outcomes. </li><li>Handover Excellence: Ensure all custom configurations are documented clearly so IMs can support the client post-implementation. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support</p> <ul> <li>Tech Lead Partnership: Collaborate with Tech Leads to rigorously test, document, and deploy custom solutions according to internal standards. </li><li>Internal Consultancy: Act as a technical subject matter expert for Sales and IMs, providing API consultation and high-level support. </li><li>Sales Enablement: Serve as the technical point of contact for non-technical sales teams, equipping them with the right information to set realistic customer expectations. </li><li>Systems Integration: Work across departments to ensure delivery systems are fully integrated with internal business tools and workflows. </li></ul> <p>We invest in training engineers in the technology stack we use.
