Check out the Pregis Purpose to learn how sustainability and social responsibility is at the very core of our company DNA.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Pregis is seeking a talented Logistics Analyst to conduct carrier sourcing events, manage carrier compliance, handle carrier aging reports, lead international and LTL carrier strategy, assist on financial analysis related to freight spend, and transport related escalation management. This is an exciting opportunity to bolster our skilled corporate logistics team.</p> <p>The Logistics Analyst will provide Pregis with a wealth of knowledge related to freight markets and financial analysis and support our 25 different shipping sites in the US from a centralized corporate position.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Carrier/TMS Management</p> <ul> <li>Assist in managing existing carrier network </li><li>Serve as primary relationship for LTL carriers </li><li>Bring in new carrier partners </li><li>Drive carrier compliance </li><li>Develop strategies to mitigate rising freight costs </li><li>Main point of contact for Pregis with our TMS provider </li><li>Maintain carrier files (insurance certs, DOT, etc.) </li><li>Assist Pregis location with escalations and issues </li><li>Develop and manage domestic and international carrier networks to deliver excellent service to our customers </li></ul> <p>Management of bill pay and audit process</p> <ul> <li>Audit, Review, and process carrier aging reports and disputes </li><li>Approve/Reject invoicing issues </li></ul> <p>Financial Analysis</p> <ul> <li>Develop relevant freight metrics to track and communicate to executive team </li><li>Understanding of freight finance, including coding, and accrual to certain accounts </li></ul> <p>Education / Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>2 to 5 years of logistics industry experience and/or related finance experience. </li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel experience. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Training:</p> <ul> <li>Experience using SAP or similar ERP. </li><li>Ability to develop strong relationships and work well cross functionally. </li><li>Willing to take on new challenges across the company </li><li>Understanding of key finance principles and the ability to audit invoices. </li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Able to compile and analyze performance data to develop metrics that support decision-making for resource allocation. </li><li>Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>Effective time management, organization, and leadership skills. </li><li>Demonstrated personal and professional effectiveness in initiatives across a complex organization. </li><li>Collaborative; works well in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis' total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $85,000 to $100,000 for this salaried exempt role.</p> <p>#corp1</p>
