<p>Job Description: Application Sales Engineer</p> <p>We are seeking an Application Sales Engineer to serve as a liaison between Product Managers, Sales, and Manufacturing on engineered-to-order (ETO) products. This role involves providing cost estimations and designing for manufacturability, ensuring seamless integration between various departments.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate and communicate effectively with sales and manufacturing teams. </li><li>Evaluate complex products and determine manufacturing options. </li><li>Provide cost estimations and design for manufacturability. </li><li>Utilize ERP systems to look up product information and determine product structures (bill of materials) and manufacturing routes. </li><li>Engage in project management within a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Create and manage 2D and 3D models using Creo, Solidworks, or AutoCAD. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in a similar role. </li><li>Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling (experience in Creo, Solidworks, or AutoCAD is required). </li><li>Experience with cost estimation and calculations using cost estimation tools. </li><li>Ability to navigate ERP systems to look up product information and determine product structures. </li><li>Experience in working within a manufacturing environment, specifically with sales teams and project management. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Technical sales experience. </li><li>Mechanical engineering knowledge. </li><li>Sales engineering experience. </li><li>Application engineering experience. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.</p> <p>Company benefits will be shared upon initial conversation with Actalent and any related questions can be answered at this time.
